Specialists in Brain Injury Care

About Us

At Learning Services, we understand the serious challenges facing people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families. We have been helping families navigate the complicated process of treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation for more than 30 years. Just as we have helped these families adjust their lives, they have helped us shape the way we provide rehabilitation programs and services for those who have sustained a brain injury.

As a case manager, it is my job to find the best possible medical providers for my patients. One of my patients was a quadriplegic who was in need of a post-acute rehab facility. I came across Learning Services and was able to tour the facility before making my decision. I found the facility to be clean, well maintained, well-staffed and the cost was very reasonable. Based on that and other factors, I decided to move my patient in. He has been there now for 2 years and I have never regretted that decision. The staff is very caring and friendly, not only to their patients (or residents), but to family members and outside personnel, such as myself. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to care. They go above and beyond in all areas of care. They have maintained open communications with all involved in patient care. My patient has come to love it there and because of their high quality of care, he has shown significant improvement to the point where he is ready to be discharged home. In future, I would not hesitate to send any of my patients in need of post-acute rehabilitation to Learning Services."

Today is the four year accident anniversary of when I was involved in an accident in New Orleans. We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for everything that you did for Janet and me in my recovery from the accident. We know that there were many other people that also helped, but don't know their email addresses so if you see anybody today that may have worked with Rob please tell them thank you from us.

Things are going fairly well for us. This summer we bought a new house in Black Hawk and are pretty much moved and are enjoying it a lot. Rob is off all of his meds except one and seems to be doing fairly well.

As we said earlier, we want to thank each and every one of you for all of the wonderful things that you did for us. You are all truly amazing and everybody that has ever had a TBI needs to let you know how much wonderful care you give. Please take care and be well.

I must say that of the three facilities in which Nathan has been treated (including two hospitals), we have been the most impressed with Learning Services. The staff were most compassionate and helpful, and the therapists were wonderful, challenging Nathan to push himself to do better each day."

I want to thank you guys so much for being good at what you do and for being patient with dad and our crazy family. He has a lot of people who love and care about him. The facility has been so good to us and our kids. They too have learned something and have thouroughly enjoyed their stay and visits with the patients and staff."
