At Learning Services, we understand the serious challenges facing people with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families. We have been helping families navigate the complicated process of treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation for more than 35 years. Learning Services understands that in this challenging time, it is important for patients with complex rehabilitation needs to continue to receive the clinical services necessary for recovery.
As a leader of home and community rehabilitation, we are continuing to provide comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment for patients in their own home. We have added many additional steps for screening, precautions, and protocols in light of COVID-19 to ensure both our patient’s and therapist’s health and wellness.
Learning Services has also added comprehensive telehealth rehabilitation services. We have chosen Google’s Meet platform to deliver telehealth rehabilitation services to our Home & Community, Residential, and Day Treatment patients. Google’s Meet platform will allow us to ensure secure, confidential, and HIPAA compliant health services in a one-to-one setting from the comfort of the patient’s home or care facility. The equipment is compatible with Windows, Mac, IOS, and Google Android devices.
As always, Learning Services continues to provide individualized care with durable outcomes. We are utilizing all necessary resources possible to maintain a high-quality clinical experience for patients, clinical staff, and external stakeholders during this time of crisis.
